We have been living a little chaotically lately. We sold our
house in 4 days, so we moved into Brock’s Grandparents house that was vacant
and about to be put for sale. Luckily we found a house to fix up. I feel like a
good metaphor for this house is that it’s like an iceberg. When we went to look
at it, it seemed like we would need to do quite a bit to fix it up. However,
once we started, it became a much bigger project. It was just so DIRTY!! It’s
coming along. We are hoping to have a texture guy there on Tuesday. Once he’s
done we can paint and put wood flooring down, carpet guy comes, and then trim.
The girls are so excited! They want their room painted teal. I was going to
decorate their room all shabby chic, but then I thought, they grow up so fast,
why not do something really little girly. So I asked them what they wanted, My Little
Pony! So I’m going to do a mixture, hopefully it turns out cute, but I’m sure
they will love it. Annabelle and Lily both have been working doing chores to be
able to buy themselves each a stuffed animal. Annabelle wants Princess Celestia
and Lily wants Fluttershy, both are ponies from My Little Pony. Brock is super
excited, last night beneath the stairs he framed in a little play space for
their kitchen, they are going to be so excited! I can't wait to be able to unpack and to actually know where everything is, right now its spread between four different places.
We went on a family trip to St George recently with Brock's parents and my brother and his family. It was so
nice to have hot weather and warm water for boating! The water felt good
instead of freezing! The girls loved playing on the sandy beach, they could’ve
played there every day all day. They loved playing with water barbies that
grammy got for the trip. They were all brave and did surfing with Daddy and
tubing. Brock is so good at surfing he can start from the boat, ride, then keep
them above water as he slowly sinks into the water. It’s amazing and they loved
it! These girls are crazy, and they love each other. Annabelle is especially
good with little kids. She loves to play with them and make them laugh. She
adores Charlotte and watches over her. She was the first person to make
Charlotte laugh, and now every day she enjoys making her smile and laugh. Brock and I got to eat at the coolest restaurant on the cliff. It was a perfect night to eat outside with great food.
