Merry Christmas!

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We are so blessed! I am so thankful for my husband, this week I got the flu and he is so amazing! He took care of everything I needed and he played with the girls, took them to church, fed them, and put them to bed all by himself. They loved having Daddy time. I'm thankful for my girls, they are so contagiously happy! They were concerned for me and Annabelle kept sneaking in toys for me to play with while I was sick. I love watching them play together, they are already such good friends, I hope they keep that connection. I'm thankful to have a baby on the way :) I'm thankful for family and that everyone loves each other so much, what a blessing it is to have our parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and grandparents in our lives! We are thankful for our friends, it's amazing to have friends that treat you like family and help whenever you have a need. I'm grateful for this Christmas season, I'm grateful for the knowledge of the birth of our Savior and the plan of Salvation! Love this time of year!

Below I did a photo shoot with the girls, trying to copy something off of pinterest, it didn't turn our quite like I wanted because my lens doesn't blur enough in the background, but they turned out cute still.

Decorated the Christmas Tree! This was our first real tree!

Annabelle with her flower girl box from Sierra, she carries it everywhere!

New Christmas Jammies, they are so adorable

Annabelle's Christmas Concert

Lily loves it when Brock pretends to be a puppy. She has him follow her around and she pets him and feeds him, its so adorable.

We went to see Santa and his Reindeer!

Of course lily's favorite part was the reindeer

Annabelle was so excited to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas but got choked up at the last minute

Lily subbed for Annabelle during her last soccer game and was so excited to play and get treats, After her game she went to the wrong team to get treats, they thought she was so cute and gave her treats anyway, then she got treats from her team, so there was plenty to share with Annabelle.

Here are the girls all dressed up to go trick or treating! Harley is Merida, and Annabelle is Elsa, Lily is Anna, I seriously think Harley's wig is so awesome her mom Alicia made it for her.

Brock is dressed up as Christophe, this is a trunk or treat, the girls caught on really quick and Annabelle did a good job of saying TRICK OR TREAT! at every car.

Here we are as a frozen family, Elsa, Olaf, Christophe, and Anna

From Brave: Merida and her mom

Annabelle is now doing soccer! This is her team.

She's been doing soccer for a couple weeks now.

Isnt she beautiful! Soccer has been an experience :) Every week they have half an hour of practice and half hour of a game.
Annabelle loved the practice part and did so good kicking the ball, she also did really well with her coach and wasn't scared. She was really enjoying herself until the game, than it became total chaos so i dont blame her. Little 3 & 4 year olds were running everywhere, there was even a point where the 2 other teams playing on the opposite field collided with our field and kids were everywhere! It was hilarious. Annabelle said she didnt like soccer anymore, she said the kids took her ball and wouldnt give it back :) As you can see we still needed to learn a little more about soccer. She came out and didnt want to go back out, I was thinking well we paid for this and cant get a refund so we took off her jersey and put it on lily who was dying to go out there. Lily took off and chased the other kids, it looked kind of like a beehive moving around with lily at the end haha. The coach stopped the ball and let lily kick it. She was so excited and came running towards us saying I KICKED THE BALL! While lily was playing I wont lie I was bribing Annbelle with the treat they would be giving out. I told her only kids that play soccer get a treat...She perked right up and said I get a treat if I play?! Yes indeed :) She went back out like a champ. She did really good last week and keeping up and was faster than all the other kids, she even was about to kick the ball but picked it up, she likes to set it up perfectly in front of her feet before she kicks it haha. Anyway we're not in this to create a world famous soccer player in fact the only reason we did soccer was so she could burn some energy and run around in the winter. So we're all having a good time with it.

Took Brock up mountain biking to kelly's canyon and went hiking with the girls! It was so pretty up there with the leaves changing and turning gold and red! The girls each had a hiking stick. Brock saw a moose as he was going down the mountain!

Me and my girls!

Brock helped the girls ride his bike

Our family pictures from this summer.

Lily was so grumpy, this was one of the only shots of her that we got smiling.

Annabelle was being so photogenic! She was letting us pose her in so many ways and was happy about it!

Her favorite part was being able to eat the apples!

California Trip!

We just got back from a family trip to California! Brock had been preparing Annabelle for practically a year for Splash Mountain at Disneyland. He would throw her up in the air, watch videos of it, and constantly be saying SPLASH MOUNTAIN! So when the time came that we Finally left we were really excited! Annabelle for the past year has been saying we're going to disneyland! we had to tell her we're going in the summer, then when summer came, we're going in August. Lily flew with my parents since she flies for free right now. They said she did really well. Annabelle, Brock, and I drove to st. george, then the next morning drove the rest of the way to San Diego. We stayed a few nights with Scott & Jill and went to Sea World. The girls loved it! Annabelle says her favorite was the Dolphins. Lily loved the whales. My favorite part was the Dolphin show and seeing the dolphins at Dolphin Point. I think Brock's favorite part was seeing the Killer Whales in the under water viewing area. I think we wore out my parents that day because we couldn't take a break. Lily got exhausted by about 3pm and fell asleep in her stroller. Monday we went to Sea World again because we had a free ticket. It was fun to see more of the exhibits. Annabelle thought the girl performing at the Dolphin show was a princess that had taken off her dress. Lily was so excited to see Elmo.

Monday night we drove to Anaheim, we were crammed with all of us in the car but we made it and got unpacked. The girls went swimming in the pool with Brock while my mom and I got some groceries. We got lost with the GPS and ended up at a Mall instead of grocery store...which would have been great if we weren't so tired. Next our GPS took us to a Spanish store, my mom said I fit in well but she didnt think she did haha. Everything was in Spanish so it came in handy to have my rusty spanish speaking skills.

Tuesday we went to California Adventure! We had a magic morning so we started at Disneyland, we thought magic morning started at 7am, come to find out the summer hours were done so it started at 8am, however with the buses not running on time we ended up being there in perfect time for the 8am. The girls' first ride was the buzz light year ride. After Brock took Annabelle to the bathroom and she said loudly, "I want to go kill some more guys!" Brock said, "you mean you want to play the buzz light year game again and shoot the bad guys..." haha probably didnt sound too good in a bathroom. We had a lot of fun in the Bugs Land and Cars Land. My favorite ride would have to be the cars speed racers. We at lunch at Ariel's Grotto and got to see Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, and Princess Minnie Mouse. The Girls loved it, but I've never seen Lily look as excited as she did when she saw Minnie.

Wednesday Annabelle wore her Elsa Dress but we couldn't get Lily to wear the Anna Dress. Brock and I took turns standing in the 2 hour line for elsa & Anna. It took forever, but in the end it was worth it to see the girls reactions. They were so Happy. Annabelle was smitten, and Lily just kept saying "It's Anna, It's Anna!"
Annabelle's favorite ride of course ended up being Splash Mountain! She wanted to ride it again...too bad the lines are so long. She also loved Thunder Mountain Railroad. Lily's favorite ride by far was the Carousel. She rode it at least 8 times. They also loved the Ariel ride.

Thursday we slept in and went to the beach. For dinner we celebrated my birthday and my dad's birthday at the Rainforest Cafe. Sooooo good!

Friday we did another day at Disney and California Adventure, My parents took the girls home early---they were kinda grumpy, and Brock and I got to enjoy some time together. We saw the World of Color show....so awesome!

Annabelle is on this ride behind the guy in the red shirt, this is splash mountain

Both Annabelle and I were excited to see Merida :)

World of Color Show

Saturday we were soooo tired, but we went to Universal Studios because we already had the ticket from the City Pass. We went on the Minion ride which Annabelle loved. The lines were so long, and it was really hot. At about 4 we left to drive to st. george. and then home. Happy to be home, but it was an awesome vacation!
